Product Development

Our team will discuss your ideas with you and advise on fabrications and suitable printing methods to develop the technical drawings and tech packs that will bring your ideas onto paper and to life.

Fabrics & Trims Sourcing

Our sourcing staff works with our network of local suppliers to provide you with an array of different fabrics, trims, notions, buttons and zippers for your designs. Custom fabrications, dye, trims and notions options are also available.

Sampling

Our dedicated sampling lines and highly experienced workforce usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to create the paper patterns and grade the sizes before cutting and sewing your samples.

QC of Samples

After your samples are made, our product development team will check the samples for consistency and if they are good to go.

Apparel Manufacturing

Pre-Production

To minimise shrinkage problems, the fabrics are sent for a pre-shrunk wash.

Any changes to the details like fitting, print colours, size, position will be finalised in a pre-production sample before bulk production starts.

Bulk Production

After confirmation of the final approved samples, purchase order, artwork and down-payment, the lead times for manufacturing apparel will generally take from 6-8 weeks.

Quality Assurance

We strive to create quality products that will keep your customers coming back.

MANG-WEAR own QC teams will perform standard quality control checks to weed out and fix any problems before packaging.

Packaging

In the clothing manufacturing world, we understand that the devil is in the details.

All items are steam ironed, neatly folded, packed individually into poly bags and boxed before shipping to the final destination.

Print, Heat Transfer & Embroidery

We work with a network of different suppliers offering a large selection of printing, heat transfer and embroidery techniques.

Digital Print

Digital Print is an inkjet-based method of printing directly onto the fabric.

The good thing about Digital Print is that it can print almost any design on most type of fabrics.

Digital Print can print artworks in high resolution, details and unlimited colours, which makes it cost-effective for printing.

We use Digital Printing as the default printing method for artworks that have more than 4 colours.

What Is This Type of Print Suitable For?

Can be printed on both natural and synthetic fabrics

Suitable for All-Over print

Dye Sublimation

Dye Sublimation is a process where dyes pigment are printed onto a transfer medium and then applied to the fabric or garment using heat and pressure.

This process allows the inks to fully penetrate the fabric to create a permanent and full colour image that has no hand feel.

Dye Sublimation print can produce artworks in full colour, high quality photographic print results and are resistant to scratching or cracking.

We use Dye Sublimation printing as the default printing method for printing on polyester fabrics.

Screen Print

Water-Based Ink Screen Print

Plastisol-Based Ink Screen Print

Plastisol-Based Inks Screen Printing is our default screen printing method for printing on dark coloured fabrics.

Plastisol-Based Inks are a PVC based type of ink that is cured by high temperature for it to set.

They offer long lasting and the best colour results and can be easily matched with Pantone or PMS colours.

Plastisol inks will leave a thin film over the fabric, which can be felt by hand and have a thicker feel as compared to water-based ink screen print.

What Is This Type of Print Suitable For?

 Can be printed on both natural and synthetic dark-coloured fabrics Up to 4 colours ONLY

Metallic Ink Screen Print

Metallic Inks are used to provide a metallic appearance on the garment.

It is similar to metallic foil print but without the shiny appearance.

What Is This Type of Print Suitable For?

 Can be printed on cotton or other natural fabrics ONLY NOT suitable for printing fine details or halftone images

Metallic Foil Screen Print

Metallic Foil Screen Printing is similar to metallic inks but with a shiny appearance.

It can only be printed on natural fabrics and have a limitation of 1 colour per artwork.

Foil print will fade over time with multiple washes as they are applied using adhesives and foil.

All foil printed designs should be washed inside out to the prolong the longevity of the print.

What Is This Type of Print Suitable For?

 Can be printed on cotton or other natural fabrics ONLY NOT suitable for printing fine details or halftone images

Heat Transfer Print

Heat Transfer Prints are basically plastisol inks that are printed onto transfer paper or vinyl and applied to a garment using heat and pressure.

As heat transfer uses plastisol inks, there will be a thin layer than can be felt by hand.

What Is This Type of Print Suitable For?

 Can be printed on both natural and synthetic fabrics Suitable for sportswear fabrics, photographic print and prints that has more than 4 colours

Embroidery - Direct On Garment

• Woven, Printed Labels : 2000 pieces

• Size Labels : 500 pieces per size (minimum of 4 sizes)

• - Wash Care Labels : 1000 pieces

Embroidery - Patch

Embroidery is the art of using thread or yarn to stitch patterns on fabrics.

They are long lasting and offer a classy appearance when applied on garments.

We offer machine embroidery using polyester threads.

For small designs below 5 cm, embroidery is also not recommended as it will not be eligible.

What Is This Type of Print Suitable For?

Can be embroidered on both natural and synthetic fabrics

NOT recommended for lightweight fabrics

NOT suitable for really complex and big designs, and for artworks where a tonal or gradient colour effect is needed.

Shipping & Delivery

For Design-Your-Own orders, we offer different airfreight options to suit your budget or requirement.

We use various shipping providers like DHL, FEDEX, TNT to ship your orders by air freight.

For orders above 500kg/1500 pieces, we offer sea freight options to certain countries.

Do note that delivery time varies by delivery location and ocean freight takes longer than air freight for delivery.

Product Photography

We offer affordable product photography options like ghost mannequin photography or flat product photography , which are suitable for e-commerce websites, product catalogues and line-sheets.
